Using the NACA Program as a First time homebuyer

Posted

I used NACA to buy my condo a couple of years back. I was pretty skeptical at first, but it all worked out in the end ( just have to be really organized, patient, and realistic). I would recommend using an agent that isn't a NACA in house realtor, I think they have to many clients to work with ( the agent that my counselor recommended called me 3 weeks after i already was in contract with another outside agent). Instead I would recommend using a realtor that is familiar with NACA but doesn't work directly for the organization.

Background: I bought back in 2021, near a large city, during the pandemic back when I was 22 years old.

It's not to good to be true, but you do have to stay on top of everything to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. I suggest you look up some people's journey using the NACA program on YouTube to see others realistic experiences.
