It is great to connect with everyone ahead of the conference. I was at BPCON19 and will be attending BPCON21. I will be staying at the Sheraton. For those who don't know me, I am a BP moderator and active forum member. I have about 11,000 followers on here and over a thousand connections. I have over 8000 posts in these forums. I love talking real estate!

We (my wife and I) invest mainly in single family homes, although we do operate one STR. I work full time in the IT infrastructure business, so I am also a technology geek. I travel extensively for my day job, so I have been in most every major US city, some many times. I have never spent time in New Orleans, although I flew into the airport one time for a visit to John Stennis Space Center just across the boarder in MS.

As far as investing goals, I am always shopping for more single family homes, but I am getting more selective. As prices have increased, I started working on a plan to build town houses. I also have a concept for a podcast and Youtube channel that I think will be interesting. The trouble is finding time for everything I want to do. 

I love to meet new people and chat about the business, so I look forward to connecting with all of you!

    Hi all. New investor from Boston, excited to attend the BP conference for the first time. I've done my first house hack this year and am looking to expand to my next house hack deal and get into investing in larger multi-family apartment complexes. Happy to connect!

     Hey Kevin! 

    First, we are not canceling the conference :) We've planned (and re-planned, and re-planned again, and re-planned one more time...) this event for so long, we're just as ready as everyone else to see it come to fruition!

    Regarding Hurricane Ida, we're waiting to speak with our hotel contact and other vendors in New Orleans next week as we're being empathetic and respectful of all they're going through. In the meantime, we've been closely monitoring the hurricane updates via several news sources. We've also heard there is no major damage to the hotel. 

    If anything with the confernece changes, we will let attendees know as soon as we can!

    Anything you鈥檇 like! The BiggerPockets team will be in matching T-shirt鈥檚 so we鈥檙e easily identifiable. At the conference in 2019, most people were on the business casual side.

    Hyped to be attending my first BP conference! I will be driving down from Vermont and making a trip to New Orleans as part of a much needed trip after my latest BRRRR. After the conference I am headed to Flagstaff AZ to remodel a kitchen for a friend then I will be completely open to move to wherever seems right. Haven't pulled the trigger on the hotel in town but leaning towards staying at the International House Hotel because its half price and I'm a of a cheep guy :) Really looking forward to meeting new people and making connections. I have 10 units of my own and looking to expand!

    Thanks for making this happen, I am a big Bigger Pockets fan and have applied a ton of the knowledge I have learned from this forum and the podcasts to my real estate endeavors.

    What up BP?!

    My wife and I will be coming in from the BP motherland - Denver! I am an agent focusing on Metro Denver, especially the urban core and as a team, my wife and I focus on buy and hold properties in the same area. We are looking forward to getting together with like-minded business owners in NOLA... maybe even with a sazerac in hand! 

    Our new focus has been buying SFR portfolios and would love to have conversations with anyone at BPcon that may be aware of/personally selling a $2m-$15m SFR portfolio.

    Hi everyone, I created an event so all the attendees that are arriving early in NOLA have the chance to get to know each other a few days before the main event.

    Below are links for two events: Saturday (Oct-2) and Sunday (Oct-3). Idea is to meet at Sheraton's bar and have an informal/casual meet-up.

    Who else is going solo? Anyone trying to do a meet up on Sunday besides what BPCON already has? Scheduled to arrive that afternoon but no plans before Day 1 on Monday.

    I so pumped about BPCON !! 

    I'd like to give a big shout out to the Bigger Pockets Team for putting it all together and keeping it all together through all the craziness !!!   Y'all Rock!!!! 

    I have a room booked at the Sheraton but would like to upgrade to the bigger pockets room block, does anyone happen to know if there is any room left in the room block?

    Hey hey, conference attendees! 

    At the 2019 conference, we had a surprising amount of people ask how they could help us out after they checked in early; we didn't have much for people to help with but we greatly appreciated the offer. In the spirit of embracing community, I wanted to see if anyone is interested in helping our small-but-mighty team stuff some swag bags Saturday afternoon at The Sheraton! We can provide some beverages, hang out and talk about all things BiggerPockets, real estate, the conference, etc., and assemble the bags together.

    If anyone is around on Saturday between 1-5ish and wants to pitch in just for fun, send me a message!

    Hi Everyone! I (Nicole) and my husband (Cameron) will be attending. We are from Sacramento, CA. I am in the middle of switching careers and becoming a full time agent.

    We currently house hack where we rent by the room and closed on our first STR in Yucca Valley last week. We're excited to meet new faces and network with like minded people!

    We arrive Friday and leave Wednesday. Feel free to reach out if you'd like to meetup.
