Young College student looking to excel in Real Estate!
Hello everyone,
My name is Rico Stewart I'm a 20 year old from Indianapolis, Indiana, and will be completing my second year as a Business Management/Finance major at IUPUI (Indiana University). I would like to make the point that I have no experience in real estate investing other than helping my dad flip homes when I was younger. I would love to learn more about the industry, as I plan to begin investing in multi family homes within the next year or so. I am aiming to even to learn as much as possible in the real estate investment industry. I have read a bit of content and listened to quite a few podcasts and videos relating to real estate, but I have a hell of a lot to learn still.
I am currently on the search for a real estate internship in Indianapolis and would love to get an opinion or even a hint in the right direction from you all. Do you know of anyone looking for interns in real estate or property management? I learn a lot from BiggerPockets and parents etc but I'm a hands on guy!
Thank you all for your help!

I wish I could find someone like you in my neck of the woods. Reach out to anyone in the Indy area and make a proposal to them that is professional and spells out the expectations they can have of you (what resources are you offering? etc.) Send out resumes with cover letters explaining what you are looking for and why you want to get involved with said person company. Do your homework and align yourself with someone who shares your beliefs and goals (albeit at a much greater level than you at this time). You'll make it!
