What are your experiences and thoughts on crowdfunding investing for real estate, for example Fundrise, Realty-shares and fund that flip?

Since you mentioned fund that flip, I’m going to assume you’re an accredited investor. If so, then Fundrise is all non-accredited offerings, so there are a lot higher fees than you can find in alternative accredited investments.
Fund that Flip is one of the top hard money loan sites and has a very good uncured default rate. On the minus side it doesn’t have a lot of volume.
Realty Shares has a good amount of volume and investments to choose from, including commercial real estate, equity and debt. There have been some complaints from investors on the administration side alleging: improper reporting of tax information, lack of updates on problem investments and other customer service issues.

So my question is do any of them allow you to see the actual properties you will be investing in? Also wouldn’t it be illegal for a company to report improper tax information?
