I registered for ActiveRain what seems like a few years ago and it seemed to be mainly for Realtors and those engaged in “normal†real estate transactions. This seemed to be different than BP’s or other investor site’s purpose(s). What is ActiveRain’s main purpose? I have seen it mentioned several times recently…I never seemed to get much out of it. Perhaps it is because I am focused on investing and not agency, lending, etc.

I think of it as combination of a social network and simple blogging platform for real estate professionals. Decent googlejuice from using it.
