@Ricky Ostrom I ran across [http://www.myhousedeals.com/] the other day and wondered if they were legit or not. Do you work for this company, or do you only use it to find buyers for your wholesale deals?
Does anyone have any feedback about this company - good, bad, indifferent, run for the hills? If an investor like myself pays $37/month, will they really find good deals with decent spreads, or is it all smoke and mirrors?
Appreciate any feedback on this company. I'm looking to start investing in Houston and want to find quality wholesalers to work with.

Sharon Hiebing I'm only a member on that website as a wholesaler. You don't have to pay for their services unless you want a premiere account and get first grabs at the new listings, 14 days ahead of everyone else. If you're a serious investor, then it does pay off.
Yes, I have found buyers and sold three houses within days of posting on that site. The company is home based in Houston, Texas and puts on free conferences once in a while.
Since your located in Placencia, Belize, I don't know if it is suited for you needs.
BTW... I also use a website called http://www.postlets.com for listing deals and add the link my mail list broadcast.

Hey @Ricky Ostrom , thanks for the quick reply. Yes, if I were to use the site to find properties, I would certainly want to have a premium account. To answer your question, being in Belize does not limit my ability to purchase property in the U.S. Checking your site out now.
Still would love to hear from others if they have had any experience with www.myhousedeals.com.

Sharon,
I've been using the site for a few months. It is a useful tool, but like everything else in real estate, "due diligence" is a must. (Am I the only one that gets tired of that phrase?:)
I see a lot of variance between listings as far as quality of comp and repair estimates. Also, I've found several deals that were sold weeks before their status was changed from "available" to "no longer available."
I still check it out daily. I think these drawbacks are just attributable to the individual wholesalers, not necessarily the site itself. I would suggest signing up for the free account for a while to evaluate before paying. They offer a significant discount every few weeks. The free account sees all the deals just with limited access for the first 14 days. You could wait and pay when you see something promising.
Happy hunting!

To the best of my knowledge, MHD is more of a wholesale marketplace for investors looking to buy and sell. The quality of information depends entirely on the individual posting it. MHD is the platform. That said, it is an excellent resource as there are deals to be had and buyers to be found.
Like John said, you'll need to do your own research / due diligence, but there are plenty of "real" buyers and sellers on the site.
We have bought and sold properties through the site.

I am a premium member. MHD is a nice site and good place for wholesale deals (buying or selling). As far as their premium membership refund if you buy a property the first year - I've been waiting on that for two months.
