Buying in Roseville/Cameron Park/Carmichael ???

I am a first-time home buyer, and I have 3 offers in  Roseville/Cameron Park/Carmichael. which location is good for me to buy the primary house?

I live in Roseville 95747 and we never have power outages. The electric system is under ground. I never thought that was important until the last few years when I kept hearing on the news about all the cities with power outages.  Did you get your offer accepted?

Gregory, you touched on a really important topic. The number one buyers remorse in real estate is location.

I always explain to my clients to drive the neighborhood and then… ALWAYS check out where you shop most. Is there a whole foods nearby or within close driving distance. Where is your favorite gym, and is it dated and acceptable or will you have to drive 20 mins to the next best. These things are so important! I live in Granite Bay and agree with the all hype. Centrally  located to Roseville and Folsom. A quick dart out into the valley countryside of Loomis and up into the foothills. Easy jaunt over the 80 or down 10 mins to the 50.

Roseville in my personal opinion is a great area for a first time homeowner, low crime rate coupled with good schools makes it a great pick to raise a family.

I would look more at Roseville or Carmichael. Cameron Park, while nice, has threats of fires every summer. Also, insurance may be higher because of fires. The resale market in Roseville and Carmichael will also be higher, and if you want to turn that property into a rental one day, there is a huge demand for single family rentals. I'm a broker and I'm in Rocklin area which is right next to Roseville. Roseville will be better for primary residence or rental. Roseville has 3 zip codes 95747, 95678 & 95661. All 3 are great but 95747 is more newer and developed with lot of good schools. Let me know if you need any more information.

Roseville would be my choice especially the 95661 zip code because it has Granite Bay there too and this is a very solid resale market. Also Roseville has low crime rates, lots of parks, low electricity rates, great schools and churches. You can't go wrong here but it is pricey.

I came from the Bay Area and chose Carmichael, and my mistake was not looking into the smaller cities in between those you mentioned. Places like Loomis and Granite Bay. If I were new to the area I would take a long look at Granite Bay. It has some of the best schools and is tucked away and centrally located. Doing it all over again, I would take Granite Bay or Roseville.

@Ahamed AM Ali honestly they are all high quality areas for my money if we’re talking appreciation I would say Roseville has the best prospects for long term growth. The city of roseville itself has a higher median income, higher population count, and a higher growth rate than the other areas you mentioned. Buy right and you’ll be good regardless!
