For decades Americans were told to do two things:  
Go to college
Buy a house
Both were supposed to build wealth.

Now, many people see both as massive debt traps.
Student loan balances are exploding.
Mortgage payments are at record highs relative to income.

So younger Americans are responding rationally:
They’re delaying both.
That’s not a small cultural change.
It’s a structural demand shift for housing.
And housing cycles always follow demand.
