The truth about Reno, NV home prices nobody talks about.

Everyone talks about the spikes.

Almost no one talks about the trend over 20 years (zooming out).

Zoom out, and Reno/Sparks single family homes have averaged ~5.4% annual appreciation since 2002.

There are peaks, and there are valleys.

But, consistency over time.

Yes, there were crashes (particularly in 2008/9).

Yes, there were booms (COVID).

But long term?

It’s behaved like a steady wealth builder.

The last 2-3 years look “flat” to some people.

The data says something else:

We’re right back near the long-term trendline.

Real estate isn’t about timing every move perfectly.

It’s about understanding the cycle… and staying in the game.
