Multiple Buyers Pooling Money on One Purchase — More Common Lately?

Jack Shields
Posted

Seems like more buyers who aren't married or related are going in together on a purchase lately — splitting the down payment and planning to co-own or eventually buy each other out. Feels like affordability is pushing people toward creative ownership structures that weren't as common a few years back. Anyone else noticing more pooled-money or co-buyer arrangements, and if so, how are you seeing title/financing handled on those?
