1st House Hack Question

Anthony Freda
Posted

I am buying my first house hack.

I’m almost at closing and the appraisal says the stove in the mother-in-law suite is not up to code and needs to be removed before closing.

Is this whole deal dead? If not what can I do to resolve?

Without seeing the full language from the appraiser, this doesn't sounds like a big deal and probably for the best. There is a reason why the appraiser brought this up. Have the Seller fix it. If they won't see, if it makes sense for you to handle it.
