Planning and Setup for a SFH House Hack
Hey everyone! I will soon be closing on a 4 bedroom SFH in the Charlotte area. I live alone and plan to rent out 2 of the addition bedrooms to generate some income. Before I get started, I want to know what the legal implications are for house hacking, and how to protect my self and my property from scary legal incidents. I'm also looking for advice on the best way for separating out the income and expenses for the room rentals from my personal finances for tax reasons.
