MTR/STR in/around Columbus

Benjamin Hirsh
Posted

Hello

I'm looking to invest in a STR/MTR in the Columbus area. Not a local, but have experience investing in LTRs/MFs elsewhere. Looking to start to build a team, but first would like to get a sense of the market and good areas for the STR/MTR in Columbus?

Thanks in advance

Ben

Hi Ben, I have a lot of experience doing BRRRRs, flips, and have tried out STR/MTRs as well. I personally like STR/MTRs around hospitals (specifically Nationwide Children's Hospital, Wexner Medical, etc) because you're able to find a stable cllientele of travel nurses to rent to and they get stipends which is guaranteed payment and they're typically great tenants. I personally like buying investment properties that work as LTRs and if they work as STR/MTRs, even better so you have a backup plan. As an investor and agent here in Columbus, let me know if you have any questions or want to connect! Would be happy to help you with building out your team here
