Medium Term Rental, Basement Studio Unit has the breaker box
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any advice navigating the following:
My townhome has a basement unit with its own kitchen, w/d, bedroom and bath. So it's fully functional. However, the breaker box is located in the bedroom of the unit. How can I resolve any future issues where the breaker box needs to be accessed/adjusted for the tenants in the upstairs?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Hi David - You can keep the panel where it is but make sure the lease clearly states that occasional access may be needed, and commit to giving proper notice and coordinating with tenants in advance. Good communication usually avoids problems.
