Kick backs for leads through social media

Aaron Margoliner
Posted

I live in Texas, I am starting my wholsaling journey and one of the posts I came across in my research suggested putting a post on my private social media offering cash for leads that were closed on. In the comments section there were different people form different states saying it was illegal. In my digging it seems Its illegal for mortgage brokers as well as Real estat brokers to offer kickbacks but i could not find anything that directly said anything about wholesalers offering kickbacks for leads in Texas. can I get a bit of direction in this. Thanks
