Lienholder is MIA

I am looking for some advice on behalf of my Father who owner financed some acreage an hour North of Dallas, Tx. My Father and I both purchased land from the same developer, I used a land bank for the mortgage, my Father owner financed his property. It has been over 3 years now since he originally purchased it, he is still making the monthly payments on the land but he has been unable to contact the lienholder. The lienholder has everything in an LLC and trusts so we are unable to find a current address or phone number for him, so my Father has been unable to contact him in order to request a mortgage statement. Someone suggested that my Father open an escrow account and deposit the payments into that account until the lienholder makes contact with him and provides a mortgage statement. Can anyone recommend an attorney that can advise on this matter? The lienholder is also hiding from everyone else that purchased lots in his development as he made an agreement to pave the main road to our lots after the last lot was sold, he has yet to do so.

    We can help. Lienholders have a statutory duty to provide a payoff among other things, you should be able to get contact with them.
