Most already overcomplicate their entities. Don't allow something as simple as selecting the LLC's name become a complication in your business. The name you select may seem minor but it matters for bank paperwork, claims that are brought, lien filings, deed recordings etc. Save yourself the hassle and avoid these common pitfalls no matter how much you like the name or "professional" you believe the entities may appear. Here's a few tips:

Two great points here as:

1. When you submit for an EIN, comma is huge Chris Seveney, LLC will show up as Chris seveney as IRS stops at the comma. then try and get licensed in a state for something, creates havoc.

2. OMG I had two entities of similar names and always confused them.  Had to go back and transfer $ back and forth.

Best name I saw was a contractor that was DFM construction - his name was Jesse so I was like oh what does DFM stand for, he said as a subcontractor its what I want you to do. Don't F.... Me. Just pay me for my work...

when we start a new LLC with our investor I have them pick a name that is local to them. For instance in the Northwest.. picking anything with  Pacific  Northwest  or local cities etc are already taken .. but when i have someone pick one from where thay are at in the country its never taken..  makes it easier  agree with your other thoughts. Title companies make booboos all the time then need to do corrective deeds
