Finding Seller Info

Brook Davenport
Posted

I have been combing through expired listings, and have found a handful of properties that fell of the MLS and had a deceased owner (assuming next of kin was/is trying to sell it without updating the property). I have been able to find the deceased owners info via the GIS, but have struggled to find the current seller as they are not on the deed. Any tips on tracking down their info? I thought the wholesaling group would be the best to ask! Thank you for any help!

Hands down, one of the best resources for finding family is Skip Genie. A great free resource is true people search (dot com). There are also other fantastic skip tracing resources that offer relatives data, such as Skip Matrix and Direct Skip.
