cold calling off market without pictures or much info?

is it normal to be cold calling without much info, not even an accurate est value, if so how do i go about it? i use propstream but alot of times there is no pics  or much info and the same goes for if i try to look for it on zillow. how can you possibly comp somthing and make an offer without this info?

This is cold cold calling my friend. You need to drive for dollars in your area. Call the owner, send mail, carrier pigeons or whatever it takes. Since it looks like you are looking for properties around you in NY.

If they say that they are interested. Just tell them exactly what you said. "I'm having a hard time giving you a fair market offer without first seeing the condition of the house. Do you mind if we set up a time for me to come take a look?"
