Wholesaling Books/Media & Mailing List Question

Hey BP Community,

I’m new to the world of real estate investing and I’ve decided to focus on wholesaling to start out. I've done a bit of surface-level research but I want to really dive deeper and build a solid foundation before I start actively looking for deals. I'm looking for your best recommendations for podcasts and books (bigger pockets?) that are especially valuable for someone who's starting with little experience and wants to understand not just the strategies, but the mindset, marketing, and legal aspects involved in wholesaling.

I also wanted to inquire about Mailing Lists. Does anyone have any solid advice on starting a mailing list/tricks that could be useful starting up?

Thank you,
Ryan

I would attend local events and network with other wholesalers and investors in your market.

In regards to mailing lists, I recommend having a budget of AT LEAST $2500-3000 per month and farming a territory for 90 days before you can see results.

I completely agree with Stephen. The best resource is your local real estate investor associations(REIAs). If you can't find time to attend, you should connect with social media groups on platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn. You're already taking an important first step by exploring BiggerPockets!
