What’s the difference between?

I've been seeing a lot of people saying wholesaling is not assigning. And vise versa, can someone explain the difference to me like I'm two? I thought they were the same thing? But I could absolutely be wrong about this, still very new.

Great question a lot of new investors mix the two up. Wholesaling is the overall strategy where you find a deal and pass it on to another buyer for a fee. Assigning is just one way to wholesale, where you sell your rights in the contract instead of actually buying the property. There are other methods too, like double closing, but they all fall under the umbrella of wholesaling. Feel free to connect if you want to talk through more ideas.
