Can we improve Wholesaling Etiquette?
This message is for all of the wholesalers out there or anybody that works with a Wholesaler.
It's time that we have a discussion on wholesaling etiquette.
Truthfully, there are some great wholesalers out there. But unfortunately, there are a lot of wholesalers that objectify sellers in that, they just see the seller as an opportunity to earn money rather than as an actual person with feelings, hopes, desires, etc.
Here is an example. Here is a screenshot of a conversation that Wholesaler started up with me.
As you can see, he sent me a message last year asking if he could buy a property from me. I informed him that I was not the owner of that property.
Now I know that a lot of wholesalers just get their information from a list or some sort of CRM and then they will send out texts or emails or make phone calls on repeat. And I know that some wholesalers don't really spend the time to update those lists or take information off of them so that they're more accurate.
If they did clean up their lists, then they would probably not continue to text, email, or call people that are not actual owners of the property in question.
But every once in a while, it seems like a Wholesaler is more focused on trying to find a deal and make money regardless of anything else. And when I recognize that, I may play along a little bit.
In your opinion, did my playing along merit name-calling?
Is it possible that we can improve the pool of wholesalers out there?

no changing most wholesalers no barrier to entry although states are cracking down just depends if they will actually enforce the new laws they are putting on the books.
