Quick question.

So i see many, from a newbie stand point, potential homes that could be profitable that are under $100k. But, most of these homes have been on zillow for quite some time. Why is it these properties have not been jumped on being up for 20 days - 200 days???

Edit: Where are the best places to look for homes to put under contract? Online and offline

Find a local investor who is also a realtor who can help teach you the market. Offer them an incentive to educate you and find you a good deal.
