Any Wholesaling Tips and/or Success Stories?

I am a new wholesaler. Does anyone have any good advice they would like to share? Any motivational stories? Any regrets? Please share. I would love to hear!

Once you begin, DO NOT STOP! Alot of "wholesalers" give up when they are not receiving the amount of phone calls they expected to receive. Just go back to the drawing boards, tweak whats necessary, and go back to the field.

Consistency, Persistence, and time is what you need! Its a marketing game to collect the leads. Rapport, knowledge, and negotiation are needed to land & complete the deal.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the advice. I've been listening to several podcasts for several months now. I've been reading over a year. A few days ago I mailed out my first set of mailings. I mailed half to delinquent taxpayers and the other half to absentee owners. Fingers crossed I get some feedback. Regardless I will be mailing more in 2 weeks. Again, thanks.

Read as much as you can. Listen to lots of podcast and read more. And while you are doing that jump in with your direct mail. I take the ready fire aim approach because I learn by doing. When I screw up I go find out how to avoid that mistake the next time.

You've been reading and studying long enough... Just take massive action, and I would also suggest a coach/mentor that is actively doing deals.  Fyi...I mailed 500 letters to delinquent tax owners and have one deal set to close this week and another under contract.  Just gotta take that leap.
