Collecting the assignment fee
Scenario: you've got a house under contract and have located a buyer. You've brought the assignment of contract which stipulates your fee and the %age you expect up front. Do you even have to be at closing in order to get paid?
And would you NEED to have your own title company there in order to close or is it sufficient to use the buyer's title company to wire you the balance of the fee?
