Hello BP! I'm getting ready to embark on a direct mail campaign. I have a letter already drafted but would like to hear from those of you who have already been doing this. I would like any suggestions as to what things my letters should say. I plan to start with a post card then a follow up letter. You can email me a doc (see my profile for my email address) or PM. I would appreciate any and all help you all could give me. Thanks BP!

@Account Closed sounds like you are on track! There are a ton of messages you could go with for both your postcard as well as your letters. A quick word of advice: keep your first couple of touches simple. Too much text or information can be a turn off and has potential to be thrown out before your full message is read. By having a short, sweet message, the potential seller can read through the entire message and see your name and number a few times within a few short moments.

Good luck! Keep us updated on your endeavor!
