DFW Mentor?

Question

Hi I'm from the DFW area and new to real estate wholesale. I’m currently seeking a mentor that needs someone to market, or look for properties or anything. I have a general knowledge of assignment contracts and marketing strategies, I also have a buyer’s list that are willing and eager to buy. I’m willing to work hard 24/7 I'm also a fast learner. I recommend before you go after the foreclosure you study up on the Texas law dealing with foreclosures.

Why not call for rent houses and go to garage sales/estate sales and ask if they are selling.

I wouldn't bother with a buyers list until you have a deal in the DFW market. You will not have a problem selling it if it is a deal.

I would walk you through a deal if you needed help. Reach out if you need some help.

Thanks Brandon L. What I've been doing is placing bandit signs and passing out flyers but have gotten no leads. I will contact local Title agents to see if i can get a list Thank you!!

@Luis Rosa You have a buyers list of willing and able buyers. what is stopping you from looking for a deal yourself, and marketing it? If you talk to a title agent they usually will be happy to send you a monthly foreclosure list.

Hey Rocky thanks for replying to my Post I was reading your profile and noticed you went to UTA so did I for my BBA Go Mavericks!! Again I will absolutely contact you once I get a lead I have been putting out bandit signs and passing out my business cards but not getting a lot of calls. Anything else you recommend I could do in order to get more calls? Also if you ever need someone to help you out or need an extra hand I would do it just to learn the process. I recommend reading as much as possible here on BP.  Specifically on finding deals.  If you are not confident enough to approach a seller once a deal is found give that lead to another investor that is.  I am one of those investors that will take on these leads and allow you to observe when I meet with sellers.  You get paid for learning once I close the deal.  If you need a mentor @Cindy Carriger may be able to help point you in the right direction.
