Hello all!

I'm currently marketing to obtain real estate deals I can wholesale to investors.  Question: When analyzing a deal, how do I estimate repair costs on a property if I have no construction background? Do I absolutely need to pay a contractor?

@J Scott wrote a book about it. It is available under the Educations tab - Books and resources.

It is certainly helpful to have an idea of how to do repair estimates. However I just look at what REOs of similar condition are selling for.

Always keep you era out for ideas of what things cost. When networking with other investors ask them "What did that cost"
