Making Referrals to Real Estate Agents

When a wholesaler is having an interaction with a non motivated property owner who is looking to sell at a retail price - are there any industry standards, norms, or practices when it comes to referring that property owner to a real estate agent?  I am thinking along the lines of the agent giving the wholesaler a percentage of the sales commission or perhaps a flat fee per referral.

Obviously, anything can be negotiated between a wholesaler and a real estate agent on an individual basis, but I am looking for information concerning general practices.

Thank you for any clarification you can give on this topic.

Why not just get a real estate license, takes a few weeks and isn't rocket science. Then you have access to MLs and deal flow?
