Do they send the post cards out according to the list ordered from them, and what should my post card info say?

@Marques Johnson , I just got a first postcard from someone for my house. The top said FINAL NOTICE! and it was pink, which is the same color as the "We're going to turn off your water for non-payment" notices the city sends out.

I thought it sent the wrong message. You want to tell people that if they are thinking about selling, you are looking to buy. Don't use scare tactics, be nice.

I've sent very targeted letters, and have a great response rate. Mine all say something along the lines of "I'm looking to buy a property. I'm not looking to steal your property from you, I would offer a fair price based on what it is worth in it's current condition. If you are thinking of selling, contact me." and then I give them a street address, phone number and email address. Some call, one was just down the street so she stopped by to chat, and one sent me a letter. Give them multiple ways to contact you so they can choose.
