Pay for mentoring to learn Wholesaling between $1000-$30000?

Question

hey guys. Recently I listened a podcast on BP on wholesaling with Investor -Tom Krol. I found it intersting so I found more podcast with Tom Kroll and he is offering a wholesale course or mentoring program to teach you basis and the entire process on wholesaling for a fee , do you think it is worth to pay money to learn the process or not ?? especially to pay a fee to investor who was on BP podcast???Not sure how much he is charging but it is not free. I attened few seminars , one o them Rich Dad Elite Legacy Education Event charges beteeen $26k-$43k for mentoring program ,the other one Cash Flow 2-5-7 offers a mentoring for $10-$35K , what are your thoughts on it? do you think they are worthy to pay that much money for courses, classes and teaching of these real estate strategies?? should I pay any money to learn the real estate strategies or not??

I will teach you how to wholesale for free in the next sentence - Put a property under contract and resell it for more money.

Everything else you learn through a guru is fluff and filler, mostly irrelevant and outdated.

Having a Coach isn't for everyone. Heck I didn't have one... When I set the program up the goal was massive amounts of information at a reasonable cost.

Some would say that if you searched long and hard enough you could find everything you needed on Google and BiggerPockets.  I am not so certain about that.

The program that Tom  offers cost about 5k. They have modules that teach you how to wholesale. You dont get a mentor but you do get a monthy or bi-monthly phone group meeting.

Do not pay anyone for free information.

If you really want to wholesale, find a successful wholesaler in your area and go work for them. Whoever you work for will have a vested interest in your success. Once you pay the guru, their interest in you is done. They're off to find the next host they can suck some money out of. That's how parasites work.

from a how to wholesaling stand point.. Mike Quarles would be the only one I would pay to learn from.. and to network with I think Jerryl has some good advanced strategies.. as for the local real estate investor/mentor.. to those folks only care about one thing. and that is can you bring them a deal that they can make money at.. end of that story.. bottom line they have nothing invested in you other than accepting you e mails and putting them on your buyers list..

The basics of wholesaling and marketing can easily be found on BP. The only time I would spend money for coaching is if I need very specific help with a certain aspect of my business. For example, if I need to improve my negotiation skills, I may pay someone to show me how to negotiate better deals. $5000 to learn the basics is insane.

You should take that money and put it towards direct mail to find a deal Or 20% down on something.I believe that's why BP exists, so you don't have to pay for an education. There's guys in the podcast that will reply and give you advice for free if you just pm them.
