Any Wholesaling Gurus?

Hello to all, hope everyone finds this in good friendly spirits ready to offer some great advice! :) Well, I'm a newbie in the wholesaling field looking to get  encouragement. The area I'm currently pursuing is Columbia, South Carolina.

((Backstory))

My marketing method so far has been through mail. I obtained an absentee owner list of about 350 leads from listsource.com. I started off handwriting my letters but being that I also work full time, I decided It would be more time savvy to do a printed hand signed letter. I state that I'd love to make an offer on the property written on the "enclosed index card". All I typically have to do is print a letter, write the address on the index card, and address and stamp the envelopes. I even use Microsoft address labels for my P.O box. Doing this helped me send out about 200 letter over a two week time period, place out 20 flyers at home depot, Lowes, and other various places as well as place out 10 bandit signs. All of that and nothing, absolutely nothing. It's been 2 months and 4 days with no calls, letters, text, or emails. I know this thing takes time but It's really discouraging to take the time and effort to pursue something every day with no results. I feel myself giving up on wholesaling a little day by day. First it started with not writing as many letters, then I stopped checking on the signs and posters, and recently I just completely stopped mailing letters. I haven't sent out a letter in over a week when my quota was 25 letters daily. I have researched wholesaling and so many people have been successful at this but I'm starting to feel like I can't be one of them.

((In Short))

I would like to hear some of your wholesaling stories. How long before your first call successful or unsuccessful? How long before your first deal? How much? Any tips? Things I'm not doing that I should be?
