Advice on getting started

I made a post a month ago stating I'm looking for cash investors in Tallahassee. So far I've gotten no responses. I've looked at a similar post for California, and there have been 10 replies.

There is no REIA in my area, and at this point I'm simply at a lost for how to find investors that would be interested in buying here.

Would I be better off simply doing online searches for houses in areas that members here seem interested in, or would simply having a good deal to offer be enough to generate interest for investors no matter what city the house is in?

You shouldn't be hoping for cash buyers here even tho im sure there are tons. You should use this site to learn how to find cash buyers. Go make 100 bandit signs that say "3/2 block 55k cash ##########" and build up your buyers list. When you get calls tell them the house has already been sold but you will contact them when you get a property that fits their criteria. Then ask what exactly they are looking for.

You can't just put one post online and expect to get a buyers list.
