Earnest Money in Assignment Contract
I got a contract and put down $100 earnest money and $50 option money. I assigned the contract for $1000 paid directly to me. Should the earnest and option money get reimbursed to me at closing or does it get credited to the end buyer? (If it’s credited to the end buyer, then I really only made $850).
