Going to college for entrepreneurship

Posted
Hi all, I’m a senior in high school and my career counselor is trying to talk me into going to college for an entrepreneurship degree. She made the point that it might be good to learn informoration on running your own business and how the degree might be a good choice for me to succeed in the wholesaling business. She didn’t know what wholesaling was and said she didn’t have much knowledge on the business side of things she seemed really focused on trying to recruit me for college and make me sign up for my sats but I don’t fully trust her so here I am. I figured by the time my friends will be getting out of college I will have my business running and I won’t have any. Hopefully as far from debt as I can get actIally haha. I just want a couple opinions on if going for this degree actually has any value for me or if it’s just a huge waste of my time and money which I personally think it is. Tell me what you guys think about this I’ll be happy to hear what you have to say. Thanks! -Tyler
