when i negotiate with my seller is it better to make an offer in person, in writing, or over the phone.

A lot depends on what YOU are best at, and what YOU are comfortable with. Same goes for the other side, are they personal contact eye to eye face to face people, or do they prefer more anonymous type interaction?

One size doesn’t fit all, so everyone has a different answer.

I used to do everything in person. Now I do nothing in person. And if I lose a few deals as a result, I’m okay with that. Because I’m at the point in my life where time is more valuable than money. Opposite of when I had little capital, but a lot of drive and ambition.
