Bandit sign at night

We start to do wholesale,and we have low budget .we plan to put bandits sign every Friday night. Last Friday that was scary, that was 3 am
In morning. When we put our sign then immediately the polls appear. I thought he did see us put the sign on. What will happen if the police see us to put the sign on? Will they give us a ticket. Need some thoughts and experience from other experiencer.
