Wholesaling in General

Hello everyone, I’m new to real estate investing and wanting to become an investor one day, and wholesaling is where I want to start. I’m reading and watching YouTube but the one question I had was, do you need a sales tax license to wholesale? (if the state requires it)

@Pete Osceola ouchhhhh! As @Nick C. stated you really dodged a bullet with that one. I've talked to a few people getting started in wholesaling and that's what some experienced wholesalers are doing; trying to make you sign a non-compete. 15% of your own deal that's ridiculous. Believe me if they are reputable investors they are not worried about competition. That person is living life through the lens of scarcity and will not go far. There are mentors out there when your in your daily grind believe me the right person will come along and help.
