What does scrubbing list mean

Ok so I pulled list for absentee from list source and list from water company and power  company how do i cross reference the list so that I don’t get duplicate addresses

@Andre Bias Yes look into REI Rail, and lower your expenses to save your self $60 and put that money towards scrubbing your list you have gotten from D4$. Then pick up the phone and call them and ask if they’d consider an offer on there property. While doing so, build connections and try to build a buyers list. Remember it’s the action that will take off, over analyzing something will not produce results.

@Andre Bias list scrubbing is simply cleaning and updating your list. You can get your list scrubbed from any direct mail company. Most of the time they are free if you are using the company for your direct mail. Once your list is scrubbed you will receive 3 different files.

1) Single P File - These are the addresses that are incorrect/undeliverable from your mailing list and USPS is unable to deliver to these addresses.

2) Move Update List - This list contains records that were updated to match the most accurate delivery address per the USPS records. Those records were flagged by USPS as the owner has moved to a new delivery address but the owner did not fill out a change of address form with USPS and USPS does not have a forwarding address.

3) Master File - This file is the file with all your records updated for any updated address and is for your records.
