Do I Have to Pay My Broker When I Wholesale

I'm considering becoming a real estate agent. Been doing wholesaling for more than 3 years now. My question is: does my future broker get shares from everything I wholesale?

How about the properties that I own and decide to sell?

@Andrew Yu, if you are using the MLS or the tools/systems provided by your Broker's office, yes, pay them.

If you are selling FSBO or wholesaling 'off the books' and the transaction is totally independent of the office, I'd say no fee is owed.

But remember, if you become a strong RE salesperson, many contacts, buyers, sellers, and where they came from, can become a very grey area.  The best way to proceed is to have a frank and open discussion with your Broker.
