Does rain impede on anyone’s marketing strategy ?

I’m a first year wholesaler. Wondering what anyone has to say about marketing during the rainy days.. I need to get out and yellow market campaign but with a rainy forecast I’m wondering if this is a possibility.. do I risk the damage the rain could cause on my trail of door to door notes ?

The weather should be the least of your worries. With social distancing/closed schools/closed offices - everything happening at home - all at once - now, your visits are probably not going to be met with great enthusiasm (unless you offer to tutor the kids while you're there).  You need more than a few ways to market yourself/your business to be successful. The "new normal" emerging will require that we become more innovative in how we reach and interact with others.  Time to build a bigger toolbox.

Look at it another way, if you had an employee who said I wasn’t working today because of the rain would that suffice as an excuse?

In all seriousness don’t ever let weather get in your way. Find out how to do what you need to do in any condition. If there is a will there is a way.
