How do you skiptrace your Propstream list?

Question

Propstream is great. But their skip tracing service isn't great. Can I export my excel file directly from Propstream to someone like batchskiptracing? Or do I need to actually fill in the excel templates that they provide?

Just curious, how did you figure Batch Skip was more accurate? Number of records identified? Higher number of actual people reached?

@Austin Wood I believe batch skip has templates you can download and scrub your list accordingly. I know I saved a template for future orders and it gets faster each time you do it. Also batch skip is one of the best for accurate data these days.

Check out REI Skip as well. You can upload an excel list there. I think they’re still at $.15/skip. I’ll be running a batch this week through them and let y’all know how it goes.

@Mike Barone man the things you don’t know when you don’t know... for the last month I have went through my propstream properties one by one, manually typing the info into the excel template provided by batch skip. No wonder I could only make it through 100 calls a week.

@Austin Wood I do exactly that. Export your list from propstream then import into Batch Skip. Once you import it just make sure your fields are mapped properly. Takes less than 5 minutes.

When you import to batch most of the times the fields are mapped properly already. You will get drop down menus to align the columns if needed.

If you want to keep your exports clean without all the extra information not needed to skip you can update the settings in propstream to only export the columns you want. When you are in My properties look in the upper right-hand corner and use the settings cog to choose columns.

You can also use datazapp.com to upheld the list.
