How to acquire finance partners?

Hello everyone,

I am a new investor who is interested mostly in wholesale deals. My first obstacle is acquiring finance partners to help me with getting my foot in the door for these deals. Have there been any strategies for finding finance partners that have worked better than others or is it all variable?

NETWORKING, NETWORKING, NETWORKING. Your best friend is going to be using local meetups and BP to meet with other people. This will allow you to meet people and get your foot in the door with other people who have like minded goals.

@Jonathan Hasan I suggest working with one or two reputable cash buyers when you’re first starting out. Work on finding them properties according to their buying criteria and you have a ready sale. Obviously the dollar amount will be based on your market and your buyers criteria.  As an example we post are buying criteria on our website for all sellers.

i am basically trying to find cash buyers so that I dont have to scramble to finalize the deal after i have a property under contract.

Do you just recommend networking at a REA to find those types of people? Maybe going to websites like connected investors?

i am just trying to find all avenues for finding contacts. Also while I have you, how much money is typically needed for these types of deals?

@Jonathan Hasan Typically wholesalers assign contracts and dont need much finance. However if you want to purchase and then resell ( for more profit) then I would suggest networking on BP or meetups to find a private investor who could partner with you. Best of luck in all your endeavors.
