Is this a must have??? I don't have a solid Real Estate agent on my team yet, but from what I'm seeing you have to have access to this. I just see the information on there from the REIA's and the education courses. What is a Real Estate Assistant? Maybe I just haven't talked to enough RE agents yet? I don't know, I'm still new, maybe someone could shed some light for me.

Bill Gulley MRIS is the local multiple listing service. I bet you are thinking MERS

EVERSON TRAVERS, I did my most profitable deals without MLS access. There are services you can purchase like Data Quick, Hains Criss Cross, Realist or RealQuest. that provide data from the public records. It is not as detailed as MLS because it doesn't include pictures, number of bedroom etc. However it is much cheaper than being an agent.

http://www.realfastdata.com/ is probably the best value for our area. It can be used for mailing lists and other tasks also.

The other option is being an agents assistant. I am an assistant to my partner who is an agent. I would suggest networking with agents to get access this way.

Alternatively your dad or wife could be an agent.
