Best Way to Network with Wholesalers?

Question

Hello! I used to own a few properties a couple of years ago and cashed out to buy a new primary home. Now I'm looking to get back into owning a few rentals and possibly doing a couple of flips (I am a RE agent + an interior designer). As I'm building my business, I would love to find wholesalers to work with who can help bring deals to analyze, but I'm not sure the best way to do this. Anyone have any best practices they can share?

I was given a marketing tip for wholesalers by Max Maxwell to purchase a list of REA in the area and email them your deals. Obviously this can be seen as spam if done without discretion. But, odds are the RE agents already know of a few wholesalers in the area. So reach out to other agents.

Also, check social media for wholesaler/REI community Facebook groups. I'm a part of a couple and plenty of wholesale deals are being posted daily in the Houston group.

Facebook and Instagram are also places to connect with wholesalers.  Take a look - there might be a FB group for wholesalers in your area!

Some of the other real estate agents and property managers in your market can probably point you to the reputable wholesalers.
