Starting out need advice Oklahoma City

I am just starting out in REI and am seeking all the advice I can get. These forums are very helpful.

I want to start with wholesaling what are some strategies to finding the first property? Are there strategies out there beyond bandit signs and direct mail campaigned?

I just need help to get over the first deal hurdle.
