What should I put on my postcards?

Hey guys! So, I know nearly nothing about wholesaling, but I plan on doing my first drive for dollars. What do you think I should put on my postcards? What's kind of things do you guys put on your letters and postcards?

I keep it short and simple.

For example:

My name is ______ and I'm a local real estate homeowner looking to grow my real estate portfolio. I look for vacant properties when I'm driving around and noticed your house has seemed vacant for a while. I would love to make a strong offer on your property that works in both of our interests.

@Noah McPherson A driving for dollars list is a very targeted list. It's probably the best one you can generate. Consequently, I would spend a bit more per mail piece. I would typically suggest postcards, but you want to ensure your message stands out. If you do postcards, you can actually use ones that have a picture of the owner's house on them. If you don't go that route, I would look at sending them yellow letters. You spent so much time generating this list and you likely don't have a ton of homeowners on it (less than 500), so you want to do whatever you can to get their attention. Regarding the message, I would use whichever generic one that the direct mail fulfillment company uses. There are a ton of direct mail companies out there specifically catering to investors. Most recently, I've used Yellow Letter HQ. I just use their templates and they work fine. No need to reinvent the wheel here as these templates are proven to work and get the phone ringing. Stamps.  Other than that, you're looking at a lot of work and cost (it all adds up) for very little return on your time.
