I been looking on zillow for distressed propertys. My area seems to have no fixer opportunities there mostly or have been remodeled.

does it have to be fixer for an investor to be interested?

should I pick a different city?

Look at propertyradar.com. The website has so much information it will a take a long to explain. The website has pre-foreclosures, properties with set auction dates, email addresses, phone numbers and many other filters.

The best way to find distressed properties is to use propertyradar.com and filter out the homes that were listed for sale for 60+ days and then the properties did not sell and were taken off the market. Propertyradar.com is terrific for doing this because it has all sorts of filters.
