Landlord Insurance Needs

Aldo Delgado
Posted

Hello, I am new to BiggerPockets, It was recommended to me by a friend. I own a duplex in the city of Wichita,KS and have switched insurance providers a few times mostly due to cost. I recently found a website called OBIE, they claim to be an insurance company for landlords. I'll say their website is super intuitive and they offer a great price for the coverage. That being said does anyone use Obie or what recommendations do you all have for insuring my property.

FYI, I have a commercial loan on the property and its owned under a partnership.

I write with Obie and I think they are great. They also offer to write the home as in just the LLC name, which State Farm does not do. They will require the named insured to be your name with the LLC as an additional as a heads up.
