Educational for Minnesota property owners

One thing I don’t see many property owners doing is documenting the current condition of their property’s exterior before damage occurs or having it checked out yearly. Whether you own a rental, flip houses, or manage multiple properties, having photos of the roof, siding, gutters, windows, and other exterior components can make it much easier to identify new storm damage versus pre-existing wear and tear.

I’ve put together a guide covering:              * What to document before and after a storm * Common signs of roof and siding damage * Questions to ask before filing an insurance claim * Mistakes property owners often make during the claims process With the recent storms we’ve seen across parts of Minnesota, I thought this information might be useful to fellow investors and property owners.

If you’d like a copy of the guide or have questions about documenting your property’s condition, feel free to comment or send me a message.
